Race Schedule
7:00am - Swim Start (Exact division start times to be announced) - the final swim start will be 11:00am.

Event Description
This is a unique USAT Sanctioned triathlon along the Siuslaw River, featuring great views of the river and mountains and a fun atmosphere.  The race starts with a 600 yard swim at SRAC Pool, followed by a 12.4 mile bike on Sweet Creek Road and concludes with a 5K run on East Mapleton Road.

Mapleton High School - Mapleton, Oregon.

Directions
From the Eugene area, take Hiway 126 west to Mapleton.  At the Siuslaw River as you come into town, take a right onto E. Mapleton Road, proceed to Chestnut, turn right and follow the signs to the staging area.  From Florence, take Hiway 126 east to Mapleton, cross the Siuslaw River and immediately turn left onto E. Mapleton Road, proceed to Chesnut, turn right and follow the signs to the staging area.

Entry Fees
$55 - Individual USAT members.
$65 - Individual Non-USAT members.
$105 - Relay teams - all USAT members.  Add $10 each for non-USAT members.
Student discount - $5
PLEASE NOTE: USAT members and Students must show membership or ID cards at packet pickup.
* Entry fee includes t-shirt, finishing medals and refreshments.
* Entry fees are nonrefundable and non-transferable.

Registration / Packet Pickup
The event is limited to 150 participants (upon reaching the event limit, a waiting list will be developed).  Click here for an ENTRY FORM.  The registration deadline is June 10, 2008.  Click here for ONLINE REGISTRATION.  Packet Pickup will be on Saturday, June 21, from 4-7pm at Mapleton High School.  Every participant must bring photo ID for packet pickup and mandatory bike/helmet check.  Collins Bicycle Shop in Eugene will provide bike and helmet checks on June 19, 20 and 21.  Bicycle and helmet inspection and packet pickup are also available for south coast residents at Mo's Bike Shop (1397 Sherman Ave), North Bend.  Mo's is just 1/2 mile south of the McCullough Bridge and just under the Welcome to North Bend sign. 

Awards
Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, the top three in each age group and the top relay team in each category.

Age Groups
19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & Over

Shuttles
There will be a free bus shuttle to and from the Mapleton School District and the parking lot is available to all participants or spectators arriving after 7am when the district parking lot will be closed.  No one will be able to drive into the school entrance after 7am for the safety of outgoing cyclists. 

Lodging
The Florence Holiday Inn Express (Rt 101 just north of the intersection of Rt. 126 and 101, at 541-997-7797) is offering a 15% discount to families or individuals who have registered to participate in the Siuslaw River Triathlon for that weekend.  Thank you to the Holiday Inn Express for this support.

Relay Team Competition
Three person relay teams can compete in the following divisions: Male, Female, Coed, Youth-Student, and Corporate.
