Event Description
The classic half marathon of the summer - it's fast, it's fun and the rural setting is ideal for the competitive and non-competitive participants alike!

Distances
This event features a half marathon (13.1 mile) run or walk and 3-person relay. 

Location
Norma Pfeiffer Park - Coburg, Oregon.

Directions
Take I-5 to Exit #199, go 1 mile west into Coburg. Turn right on Pearl and go one block north to the park.

Course
The road course is flat, fast and scenic!  Please check back for a course map.

Entry Fees
$25 Half Marathon Run or Walk without a shirt through July 2, 2009.  Add $10 after July 2.  Technical event shirts are available for an additional $10.  The kids fun run is free.

Registration
In person at Eugene Running Company through July 2.  By mail, send completed entry form to: Coburg Run In The Country, P.O. Box 8220, Eugene, OR, 97408 - no mail-in registration accepted after 7/3/09.  Last chance to register in person: Saturday, July 18, from 11am-5pm at the Coburg Grange (32661 E Mill St).  Click here for an ENTRY FORM.  Click here for ONLINE REGISTRATION.  There will be no race day registration.

Awards
Awards will be presented in the half marathon run to the top three overall male and female finishers, top three masters male and female finishers and the top three in each age group.  All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings.  The top team in each relay division will also receive an award.

Age Groups
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over

3-Person Relay
Form a three-person relay and compete as a team. The first two relay members will run 5-mile legs, while the third member will cover a 5K distance.  Relay team categories include:  Family, Open Men, Open Women, Coed Open, Masters Men, Masters Women, Corporate Team, High School, and Super Masters (combined age over 180 years).
